Mensur Suljovic and Daryl Gurney will fight it out for a win this evening in the PDC Premier League. Both will be hoping for a win as a draw really doesnt get enough points at the moment to leave the other behind. Both players are on 12 points at the moment and only a few legs between them in leg difference. The result will not confirm who is in the top 4 as yet but it would be a good step forward for Superchin to get ahead of his rivals for at least fourth spot in the league. At this stage in week twelve every point and leg for that matter counts.
Following a great run of three straight wins (including beating MVG!), Gurney hasnt won in his last two games – when he should have put James Wade to bed last time out… Suljovic hasnt been spectacular this Premier League and has been grinding out results. He wasnt great last week Gerwyn Price. It was only three weeks ago that the pair last met in the Premier League Darts; Gurney comfortably came out on top. Gurney the Northern Irishman will fancy this – so my prediction is Gurney to win 8-5.
Night Twelve schedule
Mensur Suljovic v Daryl Gurney
Rob Cross v Michael van Gerwen
Michael Smith v Gerwyn Price
Peter Wright v James Wade
